Chapter 57: Freezer?
Mrs. Tani never expected to receive a call from one of her clients from the main city, but here she was, getting asked for a request from a noble.
"I know that you refused to sell those fruits to me last time, but you see, my dearest husbands are craving some good and ripe oranges right now." A masculine and husky voice hummed out.
"They’re pregnant and demand good oranges or grapes— you know? Like the ones you carried last week to this village. I would appreciate it if you could send it here since it’s still our honeymoon and all.." The man said, trailing off at the end of his sentence when a shuffling was heard on the other line.
Mrs. Tani frowned deeply as she stared at the bustling street through the glass of her shop.
She only saw Coco bring a flying pig to the village and nothing else. How could she ask Coco Hughes, the notoriously known trash of the Yogusho Village among the five villages in the Jire forest, to sell her oranges and grapes?
She let out a sigh, bringing a hand up to her face to rub her temples to lessen the stress that was creeping into her head.
"Hello? Are you still there, Mrs. Tani?" The nobleman spoke up after a good while of silence which made Mrs. Tani flinches and clears her throat.
"I’m still here, Mr. Cervello." Mrs. Tani responds almost immediately, afraid that she would lose one of her rich and famous customers.
"Ah, I see, I see.. Well, orange, grapes, and kiwi was it, my dearest?" Mr. Cervello asked someone on the other line, confirming if they wanted the mentioned fruit, "Mhmm.. Orange, grapes, and kiwi, Mrs. Tani. They want a kilo of each fruit."
