Chapter 52: Squeals
After the business interaction in Magia Pierre, Coco had excused herself and rushed out of the magic stone shop to go out of the Yogusho Village to go up the mountains to look at the vegetables she planted.
She knows that they might not have sprouted yet, but what are the chances, right?
For all she knows, Lulu might have cast a spell and speed up the cultivation process of the vegetables!
On her way to the mountain, Lala had woken up from her slumber and was confused why her human friend looked like she was having the best time of her life which should not be the case because she was just having a bad time yesterday.
Well, Coco technically was not having a bad time, but for the garden fairy’s eyes, she was.
She wanted to ask what was happening, to know what she missed while she was sleeping, to know what made Coco so excited like a bubbly little girl, but the familiar squeal of a pig echoed in the forest.
"Coco, flying pig coming on the right!" Lala’s high-pitched voice made the black haired woman flinch and froze in her tracks, heart racing from fright.
Coco’s eyes snap to look at the gap of the bag made from woven leaves, her hand shooting up to touch her chest and calm her beating heart, eyes wide in surprise and breath caught in her throat.
She was not expecting Lala to be awake! The adorable fairy almost gave her a heart attack!
