Chapter 51: Uses of magic stones
"I was just curious about the other magic stones, like what they are used for, what appliances they are highly suggested to be put into— things like that?" Coco said, her voice frantic and shaky, barely coming up with an excuse on the spot.
"Oh." Mrs. Tani blinked for a moment then she nodded her head and raised her hand, the blue magic stone being held between her fingers, "Well, this magic stone is used as running water and is usually put on the apparatuses inside the kitchen."
Ohhh.. So, in faucets? But they can put blue magic stones in a different apparatus as well? Coco thought to herself, nodding her head along as she listened attentively to Mrs. Tani.
"Here, fill this up with your mana, too." Mrs. Tani said, putting it gently on top of the silk and pointed a finger on the yellow magic stone which was shaped in a similar shape of a light bulb with rough edges, but she could still see the light bulb shape.
Seeing the yellow magic stone’s shape, Coco could already guess what it was used for.
"This one can be put in appliances that need power, although, usually, those appliances that need power need other magic stones of a particular attribute—" Mrs. Tani stated, pointing at the red magic stone that Coco had filled with her mana.
"— like that one, if you put it on an oven with this yellow magic stone, that oven will work, but if you only put one magic stone on it, it won’t work." She explained with a smile, withdrawing her hand back.
So, the yellow magic stone is the main conductor for every magic stone? Without it, those appliances that need electricity won’t work? Coco summarized in her mind, nodding her head as she put the blue magic stone back on the silk.
"Is the oven the only one that needs the yellow magic stone to work?" Coco asked, her mind drifting off to the conversation she had with Renaldo a few days ago about how he preserves meat.
