Chapter 361: I was doing you a favor
Leo stared at his hand.
All he saw was his skin reddened from the burn, he did not feel the burn at all. Maybe because this physical body still hadn’t registered pain, but he doubted he’d feel pain even if his hand was cut off.
But it was strange how Alice’s attacks always had an impact. Maybe it was because his physical body was formed from her own constitution so if she inflicted pain, he would definitely feel it.
’I should add a bit more cold water,’ he thought and that was how he adjusted the temperature to the point where he was confident he wouldn’t scald Alice.
He started filling the tub with that temperature and then took off the rubber ring holding Alice’s hair together.
He put shampoo on her head and started scrubbing softly and gently. He didn’t let the soap roll down so it wouldn’t get on her eyes and paid keen attention to that detail.
At this point, he already knew pretty much what to do to wash her and make her clean, so there was no need to wake her up, but along the line, just when he was about to rinse off her hair, Alice opened her eyes.
She found herself naked in a tub filled with water. Her eyelids were heavy, and she wanted to keep sleeping, but she was suddenly curious about the water she was submerged in.
Was she taking a bath earlier? When did she come to the bathroom to take a bath?
Did she fall asleep in the tub because the water felt nice?
She raised her hand and watched it dry up in an instant. Well, the water was still warm so she didn’t sleep long if she had come into the bathroom on her own, but that was if she had come in on her own.
