Chapter 360: Are you going to wake her up?
They returned earlier than Leo had expected but well, he couldn’t expect less from an S-class such as Devon.
He was never weak to begin with and the monsters in the red zone should be a piece of cake to him.
Just like butchering real livestock, Leo got his hands dirty and skinned the red wolf of its skin right on the kitchen counter, before cutting its flesh into bits.
The kitchen was a bloody mess by the time he was done but he wasn’t concerned about that. They could just clean up after he was done.
Thankfully, the monster wasn’t infected with demon blood so it was pretty much edible after getting rid of the poison that humans could not consume.
Leo had only asked for a chunk but since they got him the entire red wolf, he decided to leave the rest in the refrigerator for another time when he needed to appease Alice.
Mark and Devon helped out with the washing and necessary cutting that Leo left to them, but after all of it was done, they still hadn’t seen any special magic Leo planned on using to extract the poison that the monster had.
"Alright, your job here is done." Leo said, pushing them out of the kitchen. "This part no longer concerns you." He said and shut them out for the kitchen.
Mark and Devon stared at the empty space in silence. They were perplexed.
They were really looking forward to seeing the mysterious magic but it was too bad.
"I’ll head out for a bit," Devon said to Mark. "I’ll come back because I’m curious how this will end."
