Chapter 232: Clarissa, is that true?
"H-hey, why... Why are you crying all of a sudden?" Alice asked.
Clarissa kept crying and Miss Stella walked around from behind and desk.
She squatted next to Clarissa and stretched out a handkerchief.
"Clarissa, is there something that’s happening that you can’t talk about?" Miss Stella asked. "It’s alright, you can talk to me about it."
"But... But I don’t know." Clarissa said, raising her head and showing her teary face. "I don’t know why either. I just hated her the moment I saw her and... I was angry with anything she did. I got even more angry when she did more than me and then Lance went missing, so I just wanted to confront her and..."
"What are you talking about, Clarissa?" Miss Stella asked. "Lance isn’t missing. He’s just staying at home for personal reasons."
"Really?" Clarissa asked, looking shocked.
"Yes. In fact, I went to visit him during the lunch break to make sure it was nothing serious but I found him working out in his living room. He’s well and kicking so how could he be missing?" She asked and started cleaning Clarissa’s tears. "Though I don’t appreciate that he’s skipping school, I can’t exactly force him to come back if something is keeping him away. Hopefully, he’ll be back by Monday. Is that why you went so far as using your abilities in the hallway?"
Clarissa was shocked and she turned to Alice.
