Previously, Alice had gained the ability to read other’s thoughts from Lilith, but not just anyone, only those who held hostility towards her.
And yes, she never thought she would find someone so soon; after all, the people around her all love her, but in this school... She was beginning to find that hostility towards a fellow classmate was the order of the day.
"So, that’s how it’s gonna go, eh?" She rested back on her chair, her lips curling up in interest. "This should be fun."
"What should?" Damian asked and Alice snapped out of her evil thoughts.
"Oh, it’s nothing." She said and turned to look at the rest of the class. "I just find it funny that the future will be entrusted to kids like this."
"Kids?" Damian was a bit confused and then she laughed.
"What? Aren’t we all kids?" She asked, suddenly wrapped her arm around his neck. "See, let me tell you something." She drew him closer and started with a simple explanation, with her index finger out in the open. "Anyone below 18 is a kid, alright? So, we are all kids. And if I suddenly say, you kids, I don’t necessarily say it because I’m older or anything, I just find it the proper term to describe a bunch of immature and entitled brats."
"Then, am... Am I also an immature and entitled brat?" He asked, pushing Alice to a pause.
"Well, which would you like to be then?" She asked. "An immature and entitled brat or a cute and lovely boy with a brother who has a serious brother complex?" She smiled. "Which is it?"
