Chapter 189: She’s so cute
Alice got down from the car as well and her jaw nearly dropped at the sight. Leo made sure his hand was there to keep her mouth from falling.
"This place is huge." She exclaimed.
They were standing at the entrance but with perspective skills, Alice could see the rest of the building. It stretched out far and wide. It was a freaking mansion with multiple side buildings. Even though it was dark, the entire mansion was lit up beautifully.
Alice turned to glance at the driveway they drove through. It had trails of well-trimmed grasses and those grasses held colorful lights. And oh yeah, don’t forget the water fountain with an angel carrying a vase that never went empty. It was also lit up beautifully and honestly, Alice felt she had entered a fantasy land.
Just why did a person decide to live in such a huge and grand place? It was basically a palace. Was it the view or the feeling of having it all?
"Do you like the view?" Devon asked, leaning close to her and she nodded.
"It’s beautiful. Who wouldn’t love such a pretty place?" She responded and he could feel the excitement in her tone. He chuckled.
"You know, I have a place like this," He said and her eyes widened in surprise.
"You do?" She asked and he nodded, smiling gently.
They started heading towards the entrance.
"Although it pales in comparison to the chairman’s mansion, it’s still big and beautiful." He said but to his surprise, she shook her head.
