"Demonic energy? Is that different from mana?" Alice asked.
*Yes, it’s completely different.* The voice answered. *Don’t you feel it? That ominous and disgusting energy you feel from it.*
"That’s demonic energy?" She asked. "But why did it seem familiar? I’m sure I’ve never come across a demon before.."

"Ah, that’s right. You promised to explain things to me once I defeated the boss. Well, spill."
*First, make sure he’s really dead.* The voice said as if changing the topic. *Mage-type demons can be really scheming and tricky. It may have a spell that resurrects it after death or something like that. So let’s prevent that from happening.*
"Alright, and how do I prevent that?" She asked and her eyes suddenly lit up. "Ooh, we could..."
*No, you are not eating a demon.* The voice said and Alice’s face dropped in disappointment. *I swear, you’d eat just about anything.*

Alice kicked the body lightly to check if it was coming to life any time soon but there was no reaction whatsoever.
*Well, he’s dead, permanently.* The voice said. *I don’t think anyone would even want to be resurrected, only to get brutally beaten to death a second time. You’re so evil.*
