Chapter 383: A Little Sweetness in Life
To the hospital, we sent a larger portion since Chen Lang has been staying there with Chen Fengzhou during the day for the past few days. He was worried Chen Fengzhou might get depressed, so we also prepared a share for Chen Lang. We brought some extra to improve the meals for Wang Lijuan and Qin Qianqian as well.
Chen Lang has mostly been there during the day, while several men take turns to help Wang Lijuan at night. Since it’s mostly just sleeping, unless Chen Fengzhou needs to get up at night. Since Wang Lijuan and Qin Qianqian are both women, it’s not convenient for some things, and men are stronger. After all, it’s really hard for a woman to lift someone who has had both legs amputated. Qin Jun is overwhelmed with work and sometimes has to work overtime, so he can’t go there every day.

They also made a non-spicy hotpot and brought a portion for the hospital.
They always make extra of whatever they do on this side, frying several pots of skewers and also making a sufficient amount of hotpot, even adding homemade sweet potato noodles.
After eating, Cheng Yang and the others cleaned up, and Gu Pan and Lu Ruisheng took the food to the hospital.
Packing everything into two thermal boxes, they first headed to Lu Jianguo’s office.
Upon entering, Vice Base Chief Wang and Li Shukang were there with their secretaries. They had just finished discussing official matters, the secretaries busy taking notes.
Seeing Gu Pan and Lu Ruisheng arrive, Li Shukang seemed to smell something delicious and swiftly moved towards them, "Nephew, what good things have you brought us this time?"
