My mates in Beastworld

Chapter 252 Kyra’s Strategy

Leader Marc had called a meeting for the warriors, preparing them for the journey down the dangerous forests of Silver Peak Mountain. The terrain was treacherous, and the climate was harsh—relentless rain, freezing winds. This wasn’t just an expedition; it was a survival mission, and every worrier had to be ready.

Marc’s house, a three-story structure at the center of town, was the largest around.

His mate had passed away six years ago, leaving Marc to live alone. Despite its size, the house felt cold and lifeless.

The warriors gathered inside, the air heavy with the weight of the task ahead.

Kyra, Damon, and Lucas sat quietly alongside the others as they waited for the meeting to begin.

The warriors settled into their wooden chairs, arranged in a rough circle around the large oak table in Marc’s meeting room. The table itself was scarred from years of use, its surface covered with hand-drawn maps and scattered thick yellowish papers. The wooden floors creaked beneath their feet as they shifted in their seats, the sound adding to the atmosphere of tense anticipation.

The room, though spacious, felt somewhat austere. The walls were lined with shelves holding various weapons and wooden cravings, giving the space a practical, no-nonsense feel.

The air was thick with the scent of aged wood and the faint, lingering aroma of herbs from the healer’s bags.

This room, normally reserved for town gatherings and important internal meetings and battle preparation.
