Chapter 92 You’re crazy
At the same time Lucas finally shifted into his human form, he looked at Vincent, who was sitting on the bed with his legs spread and his hands behind his head.
Vincent looked relaxed, almost smug, and it only made Lucas’s blood boil more.
"Why did you marry my Kyra? I know you had a crush on her, but I never expected you to actually go through with it," Lucas said through gritted teeth. "And how did you even manage to make her agree to marry you?" He walked towards Vincent, anger flashing in his eyes. The sunny disposition he usually had was now overshadowed by clouds of gloom.
"Thanks to your tribe members, I was able to marry her without lifting a finger." Vincent chuckled, his dark red eyes glinting with a twisted kind of amusement.
"What do you mean?" Lucas’s eyebrows shot up in confusion.
"Your tribe members are forcing Kyra to take more mates because they believe she can’t take care of you alone," Vincent explained with a smirk. "They think it’s ridiculous that she only has you, especially since you’ve been injured and unable to fend for yourself. So, they pressured her into taking more mates. And then, that stupid female suggested that to prove I wasn’t lying about mating with Kyra, we should marry in her temple." His smirk grew wider, eyes darkening as he thought about how they had pushed Kyra into such a situation.
Vincent had originally come with Kyle to discuss the tribe’s plans in detail. His males had already purchased some goods, but there were still other things they couldn’t find, and he needed Kyra’s help. However, when he arrived at the tribe, everything was eerily silent.
The guards let him inside, but it felt as though the entire place was deserted. Thanks to his sensitive ears, he picked up the loud voices of a crowd nearby.
His blood boiled when he saw Kyra standing alone, enduring the accusations and commands of the tribe members.
