Chapter 38 - 38 Eden
In a spacious study room, a large table was positioned in the center, with thick, yellowish papers spread across it. Standing at the table was Kyle, a tall man with ginger hair and golden highlights. He pointed at the papers, his eyes filled with enthusiasm. Kyle was the architectural designer responsible for constructing their new tribe.
"Boss, if we want to build a tribe, we need to pay attention to the small details. If we construct houses like other beastmen, we might encounter problems when winter comes and we have to go into hibernation. There is also a higher risk of being attacked," Kyle explained, holding a graphite stick wrapped in string.
Vincent, furrowing his brows, asked, "Do you have any ideas for a house that would suit our needs?"
"I'm working on it, boss. Most of the time, we stay in water or wet caves, but I'm not sure what approach to take," Kyle replied, leaning on the table and pointing at the blueprint.
"I was thinking, why not design houses that resemble caves? However, our area frequently faces disasters like floods and earthquakes. We need to construct houses with a solid foundation," Kyle continued. Vincent examined the blueprint, lost in deep contemplation.
"Boss, why don't we just continue living here?" another beastman chimed in, observing their concerns about building a tribe.
There were many of them, and most had already built hidden nests around the castle. They were content with their current living arrangements, wondering why their boss was so worried about constructing a tribe.
"No, we can't live like this forever. We need our own privacy," Kyle replied, gritting his teeth. The snakes in their tribe were evidently content with living together.
Kyle had witnessed numerous snake beasts hiding and watching females and their mates during mating. It disgusted him.
