A Mondeo approached from the north, and Hawk spotted Edward standing at the parking lot entrance. He turned the wheel and drove toward him.
When the car stopped, Edward got into the passenger seat and pointed about a hundred feet ahead. “They went into that house.”
Hawk took out his binoculars and carefully observed.
It was a modest detached house. A black Ford, with the same license plate he’d previously noted, was parked under the lamppost near the front gate.
The yard’s walls were unusually tall, over three and a half meters, covered in rose vines that obscured the house inside.
Hawk deduced that behind those walls was likely a single-story house.
