For the gruesome serial live roasting murder case at the farm, after surveying the scene, Brian had three leads.
The first lead was the discovery of a college girl at the crime scene.
This lead was uncertain, so Brian handed it directly to the town’s policewoman, Shara, to handle.
However, her phone was unreachable; the signal might be poor where she was, or it could be inconvenient for her to talk.
The second lead was an employee from Seed Company which dealt with the farm’s subsequent assets.
After a phone inquiry, Seed Company said that after handling the farm’s affairs, the employee responsible died in a car accident and only faxed back the construction company’s phone number and labor fee records that were involved in the farm project at that time.
The third lead was the tattoos on the victims.
Those victims were all prison-trained tailor contestants, relatively conspicuous due to their distinct characteristics and numbers. Moreover, some tattoos contained unique information, and the police database had photographs for archiving. Through big data searches, it was relatively easy to retrieve useful information.
Both the first and the third leads required time to verify.
