When there were only seven points of Gift Energy left, Brian, despite being dirty and suffering from mental exhaustion to the point of dizziness, had completely recovered from his injuries.
He quickened his pace and jogged to the messy clearing that still had a few sporadic flames burning.
Unfortunately, after searching a one-kilometer radius, Brian only found a fierce monster head and saw no sign of the obsession.
Disappointed, Brian took the head back to the small hill from before.
The bodies at the scene had already been moved onto the transport planes by those pilots.
Seeing Brian return, Susan spun her gun around annoyingly, "Brian, I heard you went to urinate over there out of spite?"
"I’m not that petty," Brian tossed the monster head in his hand, "Look, an unexpected find. Also, I was worried the missiles would start a wildfire, so I went over to check."
"No need to worry, buddy, a squad already came to handle the scene. They’ll take care of everything. If we hadn’t been waiting for you, we would have left already. It’s a big haul this time!"
