My eyes strayed to her chest again and it seemed to me like her nipple had enlarged in the last few seconds. I’ve not been intimate with Selene for a while now and it was affecting me.
Forcing my gaze from her chest, I opened my mouth, then closed it, nodding my head slowly "We have guests in the pack. They came in last night. So that could be the reason,".
"Hmm..." her eyes narrowed thoughtfully as she stared at me. I was trying to ignore the way her legs peeked from her body and how she used to wrap them around me when we were together. I should leave here as soon as I can. Something was not right.
"You know," she broke the silence forcing my gaze back to her face. "I saw Selene cradling Kurtis yesterday in one of the rooms at the guest side of the pack house. I had gone in search of Princess Jade to check up on her and keep her company and had passed by. I know it’s not in my place to ask but is everything alright with you and her?"
Alarm bells went off in my head at the information. Wasn’t I just thinking and analyzing what relationship could exist between the duo and then this? Wasn’t it a sigh that something could be going on between them?"
"W- What are you talking about? Everything alright with me and Selene?" I repeated glaring at her.
"Yes," she nodded innocently and then bent down to scratch at her knee before straightening not before I saw the soft spill of her breast from the playsuit. "I noticed that these days, she seemed to be hanging out with Alpha Kurtis more. I saw them, I think two days ago in the garden and their gestures seemed intimate. Even her ex-husband can be excused since they’re both co-parenting. But from the way she had Kurtis cradled in her arms, one would think something might be going on between them,".
The lust vanished from my mind and was now replaced by anger. Despite trying not to take her words to her because this might be a ploy, the scene she was painting was slowly crawling into my skin and if I didn’t do something about it, it’d mess up my head. "What exactly did you see? I swear to God, Brooke... if this is an attempt to make me have problems with my wife, I will have you punished. So, think carefully before you respond,".
