Chapter 280: Shocking
Irina and Lara were startled to hear a knocking sound. They quickly looked in the direction of the knocking and were shocked to see a tall man standing right beside their car.
"Sh*t!! Is this the Russian military? Or the kidnapping syndicate? How do they know we’re in the car? This car is too dark for others to see inside." Lara said alertly, "Or... they want to hijack our car?"
"Shut up, Lara! Don’t be noisy. That person will leave if we keep silent..." Irina scolds Lara in her low voice.
"Irina, prepare yourself. We will fight to protect the young lady!" Lara said while taking her gun from under the seat. Her face stiffened, and her eyes sharply stared at the man outside as if she wanted to shoot him.
Mel wanted to laugh when she saw her two bodyguards doing a comedy act in front of her. She cleared her throat before saying, "You two relax. He is my friend, don’t overreact to it." She said while lifting up the car partition, then she opened the car door.
Stefan, waiting for a while beside the black Van, finally smiled to see the door open. But what he saw confused him.
Isn’t this Queen’s car? Why is it another girl in the car? Stefan looked more closely; he only saw the girl with long black hair. She looked so beautiful. But she is not Queen. He looked at her again to see her face more clearly. Instantly his eyes widened in shock. This? This girl’s face is so familiar with Auntie? He thought.
He immediately looked back at the car to see the license number. After making sure the car number was correct, he returned to the van door, which was still open. His face still looked shocked with what he saw... "S-Sorry is this a car...." Stefan politely asked the girl in Russian.
"Get in, Stefan... yes, you are right. This is my car," Mel replied in Russian.
