Chapter 279: Endangers
The car partition had been lowered. Irina and Lara could see Mel surveying the white Van with an edgy look. They became curious as to why she was so attracted to the white Van. It seemed she was waiting for something to happen. After a few minutes in a wondering state they both can’t hold anymore, they decide to ask her.
But they were afraid to disturb her, so they looked at each other while whispering...
"Irina, you should ask...."
Irina shakes her head. She insists Lara has to ask Mel. Because she was traumatic when she bothered her from making a program, Mel scolded her.
Finally, Lara dares to ask, "Young Lady, sorry to bother you. I was just wondering if there’s anything fishy in there...?" Lara pointed to the white Van where they had parked their car earlier.
Irina, who sat beside Lara, was also curiously waiting for Mel’s answer. But to their surprise, Mel did not answer them but threw another question that shocked them both.
"Lara, Irina, is this car bulletproof?" She asks without shifting her eyes from the white Van.
"Y-Young Lady, what’s wrong? Why are you suddenly asking like that?" Instantly Irina alerts, worried that the young lady wants to do something that endangers her life again. She knew from Hans that the Young Lady often acted unexpectedly and did a dangerous act. It might get them in trouble if she does that now.
"Can you both just answer my question..." Mel looks at both of them with impatient-looking eyes.
