Chapter 144: Meet Andrew Family
"I’m afraid that my appearance will be too glamorous. You know I don’t like wearing dresses and jewelry." If it wasn’t Andrew who chose this dress, she probably wouldn’t have worn it. For an event like this, she prefers to wear culottes with a shirt rather than a gown.
But since Andrew had always praised her, it made her a little more confident about her appearance. Hopefully, she doesn’t look too glamorous.
"My love, you look so casual, not glamorous at all." Andrew chuckled, remembering his girl’s sulk before leaving. She refused to use the jewelry he gave her; a diamond necklace complete with bracelets and earrings. Andrew adds, "If you use the jewelry I prepared earlier, you will become even more stunning."
Mel glared at him, "Andrew, we have a deal. I will keep the jewelry, but I won’t wear it now. Later, if there is an appropriate event, I will use it."
"I’m just saying, My love. Don’t sulk again, alright." Andrew taps her hand gently, trying to calm her.
Without realizing their car had stopped right in front of the main door of the W mansion.
Mel’s heart beat faster when she saw the very familiar Mansion. Right in front of the enormous door stood Grandpa Will with Andrew’s parents.
"A-Andrew, I’m so nervous about meeting them." She looked directly into Andrew’s hazel eyes to calm her mind before saying, "What if they don’t like me?"
"My Love, don’t worry. They will definitely like you. In fact, grandpa likes you more than me. Likewise, my mother, She likes you so much. She even considers you like her own daughter. Did you forget? Come on, let’s meet them." Andrew held Mel’s hands which were now very cold. He kissed her forehead, trying to ease her mind.
