Chapter 117: Killing Vivian?
Mel walked beside Grandpa Tanner. Her hands were wrapped around his arms. By the time they arrived at the party venue. She saw her father, her heart a little bit trembling.
Her father looked different from the last time she saw him. His body still looked well-built, but his usually short hair now looked longer, and he let his sideburns and mustache grow. He looked older from his actual age, but he still looks attractive.
Mel saw him get up from his chair and walk towards them. Instantly she gripped grandpa’s arm tightly.
Grandpa noticed Mel’s reaction. Then he held and patted the back of her hand slowly, trying to calm her down.
"Uncle Will, Uncle Hill, and Uncle Adams, welcome." Alan Tanner greeted all elders, then he turned her gaze towards Grandpa Tanner, and he saw a little girl standing right before his father.
Alan Tanner’s expression changed when he saw the girl, who looked like his ex-wife Linda. "M-Melanie?" He asks with his trembling voice. He couldn’t imagine this day would come. Finally, her only daughter, the one he missed so much, came back. His heart feels joyful, he wanted to hug her, but he holds back his desire because he saw the girl seems not too happy to meet him.
Grandpa Tanner coughs, distracting Alan. Then he took Mel’s hand to sit at the main table, leaving Alan, which was still frozen in place. In a second, he followed them to sit at the main table.
Mel is sitting with Grandpa Tanner on her right side. Then beside him sat Grandpa Will, Grandpa Hill, and Alex. In front of Grandpa Tanner sat Mel’s dad and his wife and his son Andy Tanner.
She tried to avoid eye contact with them, especially with Vivian-the slut. Mel was afraid she couldn’t contain her anger if their eyes met. It felt like she wanted to put her hands on the bitch neck and strangle her. The feeling Mel has to kill Vivian in front of everyone is unyielding. But she’s mature and calm enough to keep it in her imagination.
