Chapter 111: Boyfriend?
In the past few days, Mel has been busy with her work at the office, training at XTeam, and of course, spending time with her man.
Time flies so fast. Without her knowing, Grandpa’s birthday has arrived.
Today she will go to Grandpa’s birthday party with Alex. But before that, she has to go to XTeam basecamp for a sudden meeting.
Mel wakes up early in the morning because Alex will pick her up a few hours later. She didn’t want Alex to wait for her. After waking up, she immediately went to the bathroom to take a shower.
Just as Mel came out of the bathroom, she heard a knock on the door.
"Come in!"
The door opened, and Grandma entered with a small box in her hand. "Girl, this is a gift for you."
Mel received the box and opened it. Her eyes brighten when she sees a necklace with a beautiful diamond pendant. "Grandma, this necklace is gorgeous." She was surprised, "This is, pink diamond? Grandma, this is very expensive, and there is a pair of earrings too? Why are you wasting your money to buy this jewelry? You know that I don’t like wearing jewelry like this."
"For my only granddaughter, any expensive jewelry is nothing for Grandma," She said while stroking Mel’s hair.
Mel was speechless.
Grandma continued, "Wear these tonight. Let your dad know. You’ve grown a lot better without him." Grandma’s face looks serious.
