Chapter 59: I Met Melanie Tanner
GHOST organization is a well-organized crime group. It has become a scourge for countries in Asia and even Europe. Until now, no one has ever known their headquarters and who is in charge of this organization. They are like ghosts. No one ever actually sees them and alive to tell. They only left the sign ’GHOST’ at the crime scene they made.
The four of them talked about this case until they lost track of time. Unknowingly they were in Uncle Daniel’s study until midnight.
After realizing that Mel was getting sleepy, Alex finally asked Uncle Daniel’s permission to take her home because she seemed to yawn several times.
"Let’s go, brother Alex, let’s take Mel first, then we go back..." said Mario excitedly.
Alex turned to look at Mario. His eyebrows raised slightly. "You go home alone. I won’t take you home."
"Huh! What do you mean? Didn’t we come together? I didn’t drive...!" Mario dumbfounded. Shouldn’t they go back to Basecamp?
"Ask Rexi to prepare a car for you. Besides, I’m tired and don’t have any energy to drive you to the Will mansion." He said, then walked to his car, leaving stupefied Mario in his place. Mel followed behind while looking sympathetically at Mario.
Mario, speechless, saw the two people disappeared from his sight.
"Damn! Commander Alex, you’re the type of guy who leaves friends after meeting beauty!! Who wants to go back to the Will mansion? Shouldn’t we go back to Basecamp?" After cursed Alex in his heart a thousand times, he feels a little better.
Since Alex gave him a hint to go home, Mario would take the opportunity. Instantly he misses his grandfather and parents because he had not been home for a long time. He decided to go back to the Will Mansion.
Meanwhile, in the car, Mel couldn’t hold back her laughter anymore. She laughed, seeing Mario, who looked so annoyed. "Brother, why did you left your comrade?" She asks while looking at Alex, who is now driving seriously.
