Chapter 42: Invitation
Tonight, Mel has decided to go back to her apartment as tomorrow she will be busy testing the game that Harry wants to launch soon.
She needed to test it using an advanced computer, while at Grandma’s house, she could only use a laptop. She couldn’t finish her work quickly. Luckily grandma understood.
She feels fresher after soaking herself in warm water. Now her eyelids felt heavy; occasionally, she began to yawn. She lay on her super soft bed to calm her mind and body.
"Boss, there’s a missed call from the Golden house." Max notifies Mel.
Golden house? President Palace?
"Who called, Mr. President or his staff?"
"His staff."
"Ignore it."
She didn’t expect anything in return from them. She helped the boy because of her helper’s instinct. Even if the boy kidnapped is the child of an ordinary person, she would do the same.
"Yes, boss!"
She was grateful for her trip to the city K. In the past two days, she experienced many unexpected events and received so much important information.
