Chapter 162: Rare Disease
Leon playfully smiled when he saw her try to avoid him. She looks so adorable.
"Hahaha, don’t be afraid of my Love. I just tease you, alright!" He said while pulling her again to lay her head on her sturdy chest. They hugged and immersed themselves in their thoughts while enjoying each other’s presence.
After some time, Allynna felt hungry and craving a cake to enjoy their afternoon tea. She immediately goes into the house to prepare their afternoon tea. It just so happened that Leon had provided all the food they could eat today.
Allynna returned to the terrace carrying tea and various cakes and fresh fruit in no time. She placed it on the small table near their lazy chair.
During tea time, she suddenly remembers the old healer book she needs to read.
"Leon, do you know where I can find old medicine books? I mean books that are not in public libraries?" She needs to find that kind of book to find clues about the black dot inside Clavelina’s body.
Leon saw the girl in the next seat, "Hasn’t Grandpa Gilwyn already given you many books to read? Have you already read all of them?"
"Yes. But I think I need more books for rare diseases or...." She paused for a moment to make sure her mind was safe. She doesn’t want Leon to know about Clavelina’s black dot, not now.
Allynna continued, "You know, I’m interested in learning about creating medicine and also about rare diseases, right?" She asks while looking Leon in the eyes. She purposely didn’t say anything about poison because she was suspicious. The black dot in Clavelina’s body was poison. Will slowly spread and could threaten Clavelina’s life.
