Chapter 161: Sweet Like Honey
"Yeah! You know what? This house is similar to the Tiny house that Grandpa Leovaris placed in my space. If only I could bring you inside, we would spend our time there...." She said without looking at him.
Her eyes are busy looking in the fridge with lots of ingredients for barbecue and fruit.
She took a red apple from the refrigerator, she wanted to give it to Leon, "Do you want an apple?" She said then closed the fridge. But the moment he saw him, she immediately froze. Leon was now lying on the bed on the other side of the room looking at her with his golden eyes shining.
Allynna felt something weird when she saw Leon lying on the bed and looked at her with the desired gaze, which made her heart start to beat unusually.
"Hmm... I want to." Leon said while smiling when he saw the girl’s cheeks are now red like the color of the apple in her hand. He could hear what she thought to make him smile. But later, he couldn’t hear anything. "My Love, why do you shield your mind from me? Don’t be shy. I promise to you, I will never touch you tonight. So relax! Nothing will happen tonight, but if you insist, I will consider it...." He teased her.
Leon is now standing and walking closer to the girl who is still frozen in place. He stopped right before her. Then he takes the red apple from her hand and places it on the kitchen island, his eyes never leaving her.
It made Allynna feel like she was hypnotized by him. She couldn’t move. Her heartbeat grew even more chaotic as Leon put his strong hands around her waist and pulled her into his arms. She could feel the rush of blood coursing through her veins.
While Allynna was feeling the rage inside, Leon struggled with his plans to propose to her tonight. He was still at a loss as to what to do. Many ideas have popped up in his mind. Still, he is waiting for the right moment to propose to her romantically and as naturally as possible.
"My Love," Leon drew his head closer to hers while he whispered, "Why are you shielding your mind? You don’t trust me anymore?" In his embrace, he could sense the girl’s heart beating even faster. She didn’t want his girl to have a heart attack. He decides to stop teasing her again.
He immediately released her. Took the apple, then he left the house and sat on a lazy chair on the terrace.
Allynna feels her leg like jelly. She can’t stand properly. She immediately grabs the kitchen island to properly stand after Leon releases her. She was shocked when she saw Leon out of the house. Did Leon get angry with her because she protected her mind?
