Chapter 56: She Woke Up
He appears next to Allynna’s bed. The gloomy face that had been adorning his face instantly faded.
Like the previous days, Leon just remained in Allynna’s room doing all his activities. Including monitoring Royal Intelligent and some of his other affairs.
He was so immersed in what he was doing without him realizing that it had turned dark outside, and a full moon shone brightly on a dark night. There was no other sound in the room, only the sound of the keyboard as he typed.
"B-Brother Leon..." A hoarse, faint, but lovely voice called out his name.
Leon instantly felt his blood swishing. He turned towards the bed, and his eyes widened. Immediately he stood up and approached the bed.
"Allynna... are you awake!?" Leon asks.
His voice trembled between shock and delight to see the silver light that had engulfed and protected Allynna for these five days disappear. And now, she had opened her eyes. But she still looks pale.
"How are you? Can you wake up?" He asks her again while sitting on the side of her bed. He wanted to touch her forehead to check her temperature, but he paused when he saw her move.
Allynna was surprised when she woke up and saw Leon was in her room using her study table. She wanted to wake up, but it felt like needles were pricking her body. "Brother Leon, I’m fine. But I can hardly move my body. It feels so stiff and painful on my back..." She winced at the pain she felt from her back.
