Chapter 46: I Chose You
Like being struck by lightning, Allynna was so embarrassed and didn’t know what else to say. Brother Leon was respectable and friendly to her, but she often wanted to stay away from him. Even recently, she tried to suppress her feelings so as not to fall in love with him.
"Brother Leon, I’m really sorry...." She looked at him while saying, "Sometimes what I thought in my mind is not true. Please don’t take it to your heart, ok?"
While he touches his golden signet in his little finger, a faint smile appears on his dainty face.
For a few seconds, he only stared at Allynna.
After he saw the girl’s cheek turn crimson, he finally said... "Which one? You want our relationship to end before you turn eighteen?" Leon asks her in his calm voice.
He could understand why she thought that because he scared her. He asked her to marry him at their first meeting. Just like any other woman, of course, she would feel perplexed and scared.
"Brother Leon, would you mind ignoring that? Nothing that I had thought was really serious. I mean, back then, I was still completely ignorant about who you are..." She hid her head looking down. Now she feels regretful ever thinking about that. She does know that Brother Leon may look indifferent to her on the outside, but he actually isn’t. He cared about her so much. He has shown a lot of kindness and care for her since they met in the past few weeks.
"I know, and I don’t care how you thought of me back then," Leon said. Allynna raises her head to look him in the eyes. "That being said, I need you to know something, Allynna. I will never let you go, and I can’t let you go. You will become my wife. Don’t waste your time thinking about how to get away from me. Because it’s useless. The universe wants us to be together. I trust you understand what I’m saying now. Do you?"
Allynna was hypnotized at his words. She quickly nodded.
