Chapter 45: Mind Readers
Leon just walked inside without glancing at them. Allynna followed closely behind him, slightly running because he walked too fast with his broad steps.
Noticing Allynna behind him running. Leon slowed down to wait for her. Soon, they entered the lift. It was already open, and there was a guard who waited for them inside. The guard took them directly to the 100th floor.
In less than a minute, they arrive at the 100th floor. When the elevator door opened, someone greeted Leon and Allynna and led them to a private executive room.
Allynna was amazed to see the restaurant was so spacious with a grandeur interior. The visitors who were eating in the hall also looked elegant in their formal clothes. The man wears a suit, and the woman wears a glamorous dress complete with accessories that shine in the reflection of the light and dazzle her eyes.
At once, she feels inferior because she only wears jeans and a blouse. She didn’t even carry her bag or her cell phone. Earlier, when she left the castle, she thought they would drive around the modern district. That’s why she doesn’t change her clothes after a walk on the lake.
She was surprised when she found out Brother Leon invited her to dinner at this luxury restaurant. Instantly Allynna feels worried and afraid to embarrass him. She was worried that Leon’s friends or relatives saw him walking with her. She immediately averted her gaze to see brother Leon’s back, and followed him quickly.
When they entered the private room, Allynna was stunned. The room looks much different from the hall outside. This is not a typical restaurant with many tables she usually sees. Still, it was like entering into a luxury apartment.
Allynna walked inside and saw a huge sofa in the middle of the room. Then on the right side, there is a large dining table complete with a mini kitchen nearby with a private chef standby at the kitchen. Near that area, there is a bar full of a variety of beverages. Both liquors and non-liquors.
Her eyes landed on the glass windows surrounding almost the hall room made her speechless with the dazzling of the city light lay before her eyes.
