Chapter 33: Old Seer
After Allynna is in deep sleep, Leon suddenly appears near the glass window in her room. He stood still for a moment, looking at her from afar.
Even though the room was dimly lit, only lit by the lamp on the side of the bed, Leon could clearly see that the girl’s face looked flawless and innocent.
Leon felt something warm inside his heart, only staring at her face for a moment. He didn’t realize a faint smile graced his face before slowly moving toward the bed and sitting on the side of the bed.
His hand moved towards her face but stopped his movement right before he touched her pale cheek. His eyebrow furrowed when he felt his heartbeat raced.
He immediately stood up and retreated towards the window. After taking one last glance at her, he disappeared from the room.

Leon appears in a spacious bedroom in one of his castles at Mavaria, the capital city of the Bellsor Empire.
He stood still near the big window, staring at the full moon shining bright in the clear night sky.
His mind travels back to the first time he heard an old seer reading his fate a few years ago.
