Chapter 32: Sad
Allynna started walking along the beach, looking for shells. Lella followed behind her while carrying the collected seashells.
"Lella, how long have you been working in this mansion?" Allynna asked.
Lella is taken aback by Lady Allynna’s question. She replies to her, "My parents are in charge of taking care of this mansion."
"Ah, so you grew up in this place?"
"Yes, milady."
Allynna felt she had a bond with Lella. Because they both grew up on this remote island. After a few days of being cared for by Lella, she starts to like this little girl.
"I think you’re about my age. Am I right?"
"I’m 14 years old, My lady."
Allynna was surprised to hear they were three years apart. She stopped her step and looked at Lella, but the girl lowered her head, making it difficult for her to see Lella’s face. She had just noticed that Lella had light tan skin and short black hair. And Lella is also shorter than her.
"You’re so young, Lella..." Allynna feels sorry to realize that such a small girl was already working for her.
She thought Lella was at least the same age or a year younger than her. Lella should be enjoying her youth at this age.
