Chapter 161: Become Iris’ Guard
Justin looked at Xavier, hoping to get an explanation from him, but he was confused when he found Xavier looking calm and not worried when he heard that Iris might be a witch.
This left Justin deeply perplexed.
Justin struggled to find the words, attempting to ask a question that seemed to evade his lips, fearing it might anger Xavier.
He then turned his gaze towards Iris, but before he could voice his curiosity, Xavier interrupted, "My lady is not as you imagine, yet she is no ordinary human."
Xavier’s ambiguous response only deepened Justin’s confusion—a faint frown formed on his forehead. "My lord, can you provide more information?" he inquired, alternating his gaze between the two of them.
Xavier didn’t respond to Justin immediately. Instead, he turned towards Iris, silently seeking her opinion. Should they reveal the truth to Justin or not?
Iris nodded slowly in agreement. But before Xavier could say anything, she placed her hand on his to stop him and said, "Xavier, let me explain to him..."
"Hmm, of course," Xavier replied with a gentle smile, running his fingers through her silky hair. He then turned his gaze towards the window, peering at the garden. Xavier remained silent, allowing Iris to clarify her identity to Justin.

After Iris explained to Justin, the room fell into an eerie silence.
Iris could only smile as she observed Justin, who appeared bewildered and stunned as if his mind were gradually processing all the information she shared.
