’Unbelievable! What an absolute creep...’ Iris silently cursed her luck as she realized that this man had plotted this beforehand, reserving a room at a resort for them to meet. Gosh, how pathetic!
"Wah... Professor, you must be quite well-off to be staying at a resort," she said, her tone a perfect mimicry of innocent surprise.
Her feigned innocence made Alberto laugh happily, his eyes dancing with unsettling joy.
"Hahaha, well, it just happens... I will stay there for a while. I’ll be expecting you there, Iris. Our special lecture shall start tonight, alright?" His lust was evident, flashing in his eyes, making Iris disgusted. She felt like she could no longer bear to silence this old man forever.
Her expression slowly changed — It went from an innocent, adorable smile to an angry expression, as if all the blood in her body was about to rush straight to her face. She gnashed her teeth, wanting to tear apart the human being in front of her.
Iris wasn’t the only one that felt that way. That man also triggered a reaction in Xavier, who stood before Alberto’s office. Gradually, his golden yellow eyes took on a crimson hue as a surge of murderous intent coursed through him, driven by the repulsive thoughts echoing in Alberto’s mind.
