Rose ignored Sam.
Since then, Rose has uninstalled the app from her phone. When Oliver and the others found out, they called her weird because almost every adult in Astington owns and is active on social media, but she doesn’t.
Rose didn’t want her private life to be exposed to other people. Her family and close friends were few; they still lived in the same city and saw each other often, so there was no need to upload something on her Instagram, right!?

Oliver sensed something odd about Willard Harper—how he looked at Rose. His gaze and the way he spoke to Rose were peculiar.
