Chapter 144: Congrats
When Rose woke up in the morning, she didn’t see Evan beside her.
"He must be outside preparing breakfast, right!?" Rose talked to herself as she glanced at the clock on the nightstand. It was 8 AM. She was surprised.
How could she wake up this late? And, how could she always wake up after Evan? This is not right! If her mother knows, she will scold her.
Rose quickly dragged herself to the bathroom to get ready. Today at 9 AM, she has to meet Oliver and Sam to get authorization to open an official branch in this city. Oliver told her last night that they would confront the high-ranking government officials in charge of the authorization. They have solid evidence that this official was bribed by the Global Group who eye Rapid Realty.
They will do the soft-way first. However, if the corrupt officials stall time to sign the permit application for opening a branch office that they submitted, then they would use the hard way. It is their last option. Oliver has a lot of evidence that could incriminate the corrupt officials. But it looks like this dirty practice will end this year. The high-ranking government officials and the auction committee were unlucky now that the Wilson Group took part this time, and their dirty practice would soon be exposed.
