The black Maybach car drove fast through the night to the Dream Hotel. No one speaks. Evan coldly looked at the road in front of him. Rose didn’t know what to say to start a conversation because suddenly, Evan was acting differently than usual.
It was the first time Rose had witnessed this side of Evan since they had been dating. It felt strange, making her feel awkward to ask him. Worried, his mood will get worse.
She can guess this man is jealous of Sean. But it felt like his jealousy was too much. He shut his surroundings and didn’t want to talk to anyone, including her.

Rose glanced at Evan again and saw that his expression was unchanged. It’s a no expression at all. Even the Madame Tussauds museum statue has a more visible emotion than his. His eyes were fixed on the road ahead. The cold aura that radiated from his body made the temperature in the car drop to zero degrees. She could see his hands gripping the steering wheel so tightly that his knuckles were visible.
The Maybach he drives speeding down an empty street. Rose didn’t realize they were the last customers to leave the restaurant. Because when they go downstairs, she can’t see any other customers; the lights are already dim, and the street is now empty.
After some time... Rose was unable to see his cold expression last like an eternity. She finally said what was on her mind.
"Hubby..." She uses her best seductive voice to lure this icy man to come out from his icy cave. Rose smiled in her heart when she saw Evan turn his gaze at her with his curious-looking eyes. "Are you jealous?" Evan’s silence made Rose believe that he was really jealous.
