Chapter 3: Rose Future Plan
Two hours of business talk felt too short. Moreover, all the keynote speakers are influential figures in this country, Astington. Hearing them share their success story amazed her, though she has often read about them in magazines. She also knows two people on the stage will become influential business owners in the future.
Many plans have filled Rose’s brain now. She will build her own empire in this country and live happily with her mother. She has memories of what happened 10 years in the future, which are still vivid in her mind. Now, she can grow her business by using this cheat. She will be mapping her business and becoming an independent woman.
Seeing the talk show participants have started to leave the auditorium, Rose remained in her seat while looking at her cell phone. She read a new message from Dustin. He told her he passed the audition to the next round. He asks to meet to celebrate his success.
Rose felt like she wanted to block his number, but again she held herself. She couldn’t just cut ties with Dustin. Everyone will be confused if she does that. Because people around her knew they were very close, even though Dustin had never asked her to date. So far, she was the only one who seemed to be chasing Dustin too much.
She turns off her cellphone while smiling and remembers Dustin will fail in the next round. Meanwhile, she made it through to the final round and stopped in the big 5 round. Her career as a singer started to move after participating in a singing competition. Still, she gave up her career because she was pregnant after being married to Dustin.
And suddenly she remembers her mother, her heart tightening. She felt like she wanted to go home immediately, to see her. She will take her mother to the hospital and check on her condition. This time she would not let her mother die.
"Rose..." Suddenly Rose could hear a man’s voice ringing in her ear. When she lifted her head, she saw Evan already standing before her.
"What are you thinking? You look so serious that you don’t even notice I’m standing here?" He smiled and sat beside Rose.
"Nothing..." Rose sat straight and took her backpack under the chair. "Evan... you looked so stunning on the stage earlier. Your aura as a great businessman is already radiating from how you talk among business experts and high-profile entrepreneurs." Rose raises her two thumbs as she praises him sincerely.
