Chapter 88: A Promise.
Shen Yi woke up with a smile on her face because today was not only Mu Chen birthday but it was also the last day of their shoot. Zhou Xi wondered what she would give Mu Chen as a birthday gift, because before when she was Shen Yi, she would deposit a huge sum of money in his account and then gift him a role in any movie he wanted and then they will spend the day together, well as much as they could before Li Lingyun would send his men to drag her back.
Even though she doesn’t have that much money anymore, she still wanted to make today special for him and that is why she planned everything a week ago. After their shoot have ended, she has planned a surprise for him, even the thought of what she has planned for him made her cheek beet red.
Shen Yi started her day by baking a chocolate cake for Mu Chen birthday, she enrolled for baking classes a month ago just for this day and after seeing the cake she has baked, Shen Yi felt it was truly worth it.
After baking the cake and placing it on her fridge, Shen Yi took her bath and then went for her last shoot.

"Mummy!" Li Xiao shouted as she let go of Si Yan hand and ran to her mother.
Lin Yan stretch out her hands wide and said "My baby." And when Li Xiao ran to her embrace, Lin Yan hugged her tightly and said "I have missed you so much. Did you miss you too?’
Si Yan rolled his eyes and said "Why would she miss you when she was with me?"
Lin Yan carried Li Xiao in her arms and glared at Si Yan, she was about to retorted when Li Xiao shouted "Daddy!"
Li Lingyun smiled when he saw Lin Yan glaring at Si Yan and asked "Were the both of you arguing again?"
