"I....I wasn’t actually eavesdropping, I just overheard your conversation." Lin Yan said. Even though she stammered a little, she was too shock by the revelation to feel terrified of Li Lingyun at this moment.
Just before Li Lingyun could say anything, Lin Yan belly rumble, he narrowed his eyes at her and stared at belly, then he asked "Are you hungry?"
Lin Yan felt embarrassed at the sound of her belly, but even though she wanted to deny it, the truth was that she was very hungry, she haven’t eaten a proper meal since yesternight. Lin Yan nodded her head and said "Yes."
Li Lingyun stared at his wife and he felt as if something has been off with her since the accident. Especially her eyes, her eyes no longer held hatred and mockery whenever she looked at him and somehow he felt she was a different person. Li Lingyun sighed and thought to himself that a cold Shen Yi was actually more easier to interact with than the Shen Yi he is staring at right now. Her eyes right now held no animosity, in fact she looked like someone who has been wrong and that look was somehow leaving a irritation in his heart. "Follow me."
"Huh?"
"Didn’t you say you were hungry, follow me, I will make something for you."

Lin Yan sat at the kitchen counter and watched as Li Lingyun cook noodles for her. Seeing Li Lingyun cook for her made Lin Yan to realize that Li Jun has never cooked for her. They usually had maids, speaking of maids, she wondered what happened to the ones she saw this morning, she looked at Li Lingyun and asked "What happened to the maids I saw this morning."
