Chapter 10: He is the Don.
Silence.
It was death silence as they realized they fucked up, but most importantly, it was Olivia herself who just realized she fucked up on a whole other level because now it isn’t just about that she let Joseph out, the last fucking Cassian, but the bigger problem was those six, the DAG operators.
She studied them. Every single agency had hundreds of pages of study on them, and actually taught how they were able to assassinate well-protected people, how they were literally all special forces in one,like spies, snipers, explosive experts, and everything you can think of.
They were and are literally super soldiers... and she knew that if that is really true, that they are who helped Joseph, then except Joseph, everybody is going to die, herself too, because the DAG doesn’t leave behind any trace and she is a trace and that’s where the problem came from.
Olivia was okay to die. She was trained to die since she joined the agency. She knew that her job is to die with silence, to not say anything, but if those operators come, then they wouldn’t just kill some people, but fucking kill and erase the literal godfather families of the country, and it will cause massive shit, and it can even start a war all over again.
There are too many dots connecting these families. They have a legacy. They didn’t need to fight anything because their father and mother already paved out the way, the power just fell on them... and if they die, all the power, all the assets and markets they are controlling, the bribed officials will just go berserk, they will have a party with what they left... and one of the most important in this is Olivia.
If the government, if the agencies found her body with them in one place, without the trace of Joseph, without an investigation it will be clear to everyone that Joseph is the most influential man in the fucking nation, and what would happen then?
She couldn’t even think about that, a war, or maybe they will be too scared to even act on Joseph, or would Joseph act on his own? Will he become the Don of the Cassians, the new way, the mastermind of the criminal underworld?
Her thoughts were all over the place. She couldn’t think straight. Her mind was just focusing on the future, what will happen, what he will do?
