Trapped In A Marriage I Never Wanted

Chapter 76: Deep Talk

Matthias felt his heart once again struck by a powerful lightning bolt because his wife was acting selfishly. He understood what she was thinking. If he were her, he would also be reluctant to ask for help if the problem was particularly complex. However, that didn’t mean he should be yelled at like this. Just a few days ago, his wife had treated him with such kindness that his love for her had blossomed. Now, she was acting cold towards him again.

Meanwhile, Victoria still couldn’t bring herself to yell at her husband, who was too innocent in her eyes. However, if she brought this matter up openly, would he be angry? She worried he would do something stupid that would cost the company money.

"Please Victoria, can you talk to me about this nicely?"

"Matthias, if I tell you all this, will you actually scold me?"

"No. How could I act so rashly? If I wanted to help you, how could I end up scolding you?"

Should she tell her husband the truth? She didn’t want to do it alone without his knowledge. Could he really help her solve all these problems without messing things up?

"We’ll talk about it after we shower. Now I want to finish dinner."

In fact, Victoria was deliberately delaying the time to mentally prepare herself to tell her husband everything. After dinner, he had to wash all the dishes and utensils, then take a shower. It took her at least over an hour to stall.

After more than an hour had passed, she was now ready to tell her husband about her problems. Regardless of whether he would ruin her plans, the important thing was that she was determined not to hide anything from him anymore.

Victoria decided to discuss her problems in her husband’s room. She sat slightly away from him and lowered her head. She was ready for him to scold her for signing that stupid contract.
