Chapter 45: Mischievous Idea
Thanks to Jennifer’s indirect mischievous idea, Victoria now decided to take revenge on her husband for making her angry when she was surveying the project site. She wanted to use Ansel to make her husband really angry seeing her making out with another man, especially her ex-fiancé. However, she didn’t want to make her husband jealous today because it would be easy to guess that she actually wanted revenge.
Today she just asked Ansel out for coffee at a cafe near his studio. It just so happened that Ansel wasn’t too busy today, so it was the perfect time to tell his ex-fiancé about his mischievous mission.
"By the way, you suddenly asked me to meet again, will your husband be angry?"
Victoria smiled mischievously as she sipped her matcha latte. "I actually wanted to ask you out on a date on the day off tomorrow. Do you mind?"
Ansel shook his head nervously. "I don’t mind. But it’s just weird to hear you ask me out again when you’re married to another man."
"Because I want to teach him a lesson. Because today he made me a little upset."
"Where do you want to take me on a date?"
"Swimming pool. It’s been a long time since we went swimming."
Ansel frowned. "Then what are we going to do there?"
"Just swimming. Anyway, just follow me."
Ansel was actually very happy to be asked out on a date at the pool. However, on the other hand, he was a little upset because it could be concluded that his presence was only used by his ex-fiancé. His ex-fiancé asked him out not because she still loved him. What could he do, there was no way he could refuse this golden opportunity either.
