Chapter 42: Another Support System
It had been a long time since Victoria was invited so respectfully by Matthias’s grandfather since before she became Matthias’ wife. Usually when Leticia was working, Matthias’s grandfather freely invited her to lunch at his luxurious residence. They had lunch together in the yard. Because Matthias’s grandfather really liked to breathe fresh air that could calm his mind.
Victoria was very happy every time she spent time with Matthias’s grandfather. Although she had not known what his grandson looked like before, now she wanted to tell him this important thing. She actually wanted to test his reaction to knowing that she married Matthias.
"Grandpa, I miss you so much."
"I miss you too, Victoria. That’s why I wanted to take you to lunch."
"Where have you been all this time? Why didn’t you give me any news?"
The grandfather just laughed softly. "Because I’m worried that your family will make things even more difficult for you because you often come to see me. There are many eyes and ears watching us."
Victoria nodded. "It turns out my mindset is the same as yours. I should be your granddaughter instead."
"Speaking of grandchildren, my grandson has returned to this city. I actually wanted to introduce you to him. He is a very nice man."
"Grandpa, actually I already married her."
