Chapter 35: Sweet Night
Victoria was surprised when her husband suddenly appeared in a sleeping state. Seeing her husband sleeping soundly, she got out of bed slowly while taking the blanket. Seeing her husband who accompanied her silently, she began to suspect whether her husband had actually been accompanying her to sleep without her knowledge? If so, then she really didn’t know herself all this time. Slandering, accusing, and oppressing her husband until he was helpless. Even though her husband had always done anything to make her happy. While all this time she had always misunderstood.
Victoria took the initiative to put a blanket on her husband’s body. Looking at her handsome husband who still looked radiant even though he was asleep, her heart immediately blossomed because for the first time she saw a man act this far without having to say it openly.
"Why do you have to go this far? Could it be that you’ve been accompanying me secretly all this time?"
A sweet smile increasingly adorned her beautiful face. For a moment she went to the bathroom then returned to her husband who was still sleeping. Her left hand touched her husband’s soft cheek.
"Even though you’ve been annoying all this time, you’re very sweet. Doesn’t your body hurt because you accompany me like this every night?"
Another thing that touched Victoria was that Matthias was really different from other men. Usually other men would choose to sleep in bed even though their lover didn’t love them yet. Or usually other men would secretly harass their women while they were sleeping. However, Matthias chose to sleep sitting on the floor. It could be concluded that Matthias was a gentleman. Moreover, Matthias still took the time to wake up early to cook breakfast.
Suddenly another piece of memory crossed her mind. This time it showed a scene before she entered the dream world, there was a man who accompanied her to sleep. This time, the visual of the memory fragment was not too vague so she could see the man’s posture at least. The way the man accompanied her was the same as what Matthias was doing now. However, the difference was that the man had told her first that he wanted to accompany her all night.
Only for a short time, the piece of memory immediately disappeared. Unconsciously, her tears flowed heavily as she looked at her husband who was still sleeping. She still remembered it clearly. The man who accompanied her at that time looked very much like Matthias. If only she could also see the man’s face, then she wouldn’t have to guess anymore.
"Matthias, if that man is you, I still don’t want to love you based on past memories. I will try to start over with you. I hope you don’t mind."
