Chapter 21: Facing New Enemy
Is this called revenge and the law of karma? Witnessing this unexpected scene made Victoria startled and angry at the same time. She doesn’t know why she wanted to vent her tears because her chest now felt tight. Although up to this moment she still hated Matthias, why did her heart hurt as if she had been pierced by a spear many times? She really hates Matthias who always hurts her heart in every way. At first Matthias forced her to marry her by giving a marriage certificate. Now Matthias himself betrayed her secretly.
Had Matthias actually been dating another woman without her knowledge? If Matthias was really playing with the hearts of two women, Victoria would have considered Matthias the most asshole she had ever met.
She was so sick of watching it for a long time. She slowly moved her legs back tremblingly so that her body almost fell. As a result, her presence was noticed by Matthias and the guest.
"Looks like you have a guest too, Matthias," Amber said in a high-pitched voice.
Matthias immediately released the hug and turned around to look at his beloved wife who was hiding behind the wall. His wife’s gloomy expression while hiding, it was certain that now his wife was jealous because he was suddenly hugged by another woman. However, he did not want his wife to hate him even more because of this. He took the initiative to approach his wife who kept avoiding his gaze.
"Victoria."
Victoria smiled warmly and presented herself confidently, proving that she did not mind the current situation. "So you have other guests too, Matthias. It seems I disturbed you at an inappropriate time."
"Victoria, I–"
Amber also approached her enemy with a sly smile and extended her right hand. "It is an honor to meet Matthias’ lover."
