Chapter 6: Contract Marriage
Victoria clenched both fists and then hit the handsome CEO’s broad back. She didn’t expect the cold CEO to be so obsessed with her that he would go this far. In her mind all this time, she had always thought that the cold CEO would find it difficult to be gentle with a woman. However, what the cold CEO was doing now was completely different from what she had imagined. The cold CEO’s sweet attitude actually made her want to cry again. That was how much she hated being treated too sweetly.
"Who told you to prepare breakfast? Are you my assistant?!"
Matthias smiled mischievously. Turning off the stove, he turned around. He moved his lips closer to his wife’s. "I told you earlier. I stayed here because I just wanted to sign our contract marriage."
"Don’t use the contract marriage as an excuse to act as you please! Seeing you act as you please now, I will add a clause to the contract that will make things difficult for you!"
"What right do you have to make contract clauses as you please? I am the CEO, I have the right to make contract clauses!"
Victoria folded her arms. "I don’t care if you’re the CEO or not. What’s certain is that I want to end all of this immediately! I’m so sick of seeing you." More likely because of staring at her husband’s face too closely, her heart was pounding a little and tears were almost dripping down her cheeks.
Meanwhile, Matthias actually realized that his wife’s face was currently showing sadness. He wanted to hug his wife, but he was worried that his own wife would kill him if he went this far. He was forced to act a little cold because his wife’s behavior was getting more and more outrageous.
"Okay, I already cooked breakfast for you. You have to be responsible for eating it all!"
"Isn’t it more likely that you should be the one to compensate? You used up the food in my fridge!"
