Arren spent his birthday with his father, as usual. And yet, he was not exactly satisfied. Perhaps it was due to his having expectations for this birthday.
He thought at least Spade would greet him, but his birthday ended, and he had not heard anything from the alpha. He felt disappointed. After all, Arren was under the impression that their relationship might be ambiguous, but it was going in that inevitable direction in the end.
Of course, he didn’t let his mood affect his father, so he celebrated his birthday without thinking about anything else; only after he got home did he sulk about it.
The next day, as he didn’t have class, Arren decided to rest at home. Truly, he was still slightly mad that Spade had not greeted him, but he was hoping he would come like he usually did. To his dismay, Spade was also nowhere to be seen.
He frowned heavily and cursed Spade in his mind for being so heartless and clueless about his feelings. When it was afternoon, someone came into the mansion.
It wasn’t Spade, though, but Levin.
"Eh? What are you doing here?"Arren’s voice was slightly higher as he was not in a good mood. Even if he had also rarely seen Levin during the past year, there was no awkwardness between them.
Since their relationship was neither too good nor too bad to begin with.
As usual, there was a grin on his face, but there was something more particular this time as he looked at Arren.
