Chapter 193: Him
Needless to say, there was quite a commotion in the mansion after Spade woke up. Although Arren was so excited to be with his alpha for much longer, he still called for the doctors and examined Spade right away.
Aside from the doctors, everyone was really happy that Spade finally woke up; even his father couldn’t help but spectate when the doctors were examining the alpha.
As they concluded, Spade’s vitals were all normal, and he had already recovered from his fever. He was so healthy that it would only take a day for a full recovery from his sleep, as though that sleep was necessary for him.
Arren stared at the alpha, who was now talking to his father, talking with the empire’s stuff after waking up. He observed him intently, his arms folded in his chest as he leaned his back on the wall.
The doctors were already dismissed, and aside from them, there was another person there, Rave.
"Something’s wrong?" a graceful voice whispered beside his ears. Arren blinked and cast a glance at Rave, who was beside him. Both were beside the door, quite a distance from the bed.
His brow arched up, and Arren was about to retort jokingly, "How could there be something wrong? However, looking at the serious omega, he swallowed the words.
He sighed before shifting his gaze back to the alpha as he narrowed his eyes. "Nothing, there’s nothing wrong," he responded with a low voice, tilting his head slightly before he added, "And that’s even more weird." A second after he finished, he turned and looked at Rave, chuckling at his words. "I don’t make sense, right?"
Arren shook his head, laughing once more, before approaching the two and asking permission to leave. Now, he needed to cook for his alpha as he planned.
When they were outside the room, Rave spoke, which made Arren stop in his tracks. He lifted his head and looked at the white-haired omega. Both seemed frozen and could only look at each other.
"Something’s wrong." This time it wasn’t a question anymore but a statement. It took a few seconds of silence before Arren responded.
