The Emperor's Omega Is An Extra

Chapter 97: Prelude Of Chaos (2)

Arren glanced at the center of the square; he only had a glimpse, and he saw that the chaos was still under control. However, the real fight had already started. It seemed this was the reason the royal guards were ordered to take him away.

And yet, he also noticed that they seemed extremely cautious and in a hurry to leave. Arren became even more curious about what Spade had specifically ordered for them to act this way.

He was already itching to ask what was already happening, but he still stopped himself from doing so. It was because he didn’t want to distract them, which might even lead to danger.

Arren could only placate himself by telling himself that everything was going fine and that Spade must have triggered his overprotective mood and wanted to take him away from this place as soon as possible.

There were still a lot of people, and their cars couldn’t progress much from the square. Arren watched outside but didn’t dare to open the window of the car.

The traffic was too much at this part of the square, so Arren thought they would stay there for a few minutes. While observing the outside, he also managed to notice that there were some royal guards that waved and parted the crowd.

His brows instinctively rose at this before he shifted his attention to the man in the passenger seat. Arren seemed to underestimate the gravity of the situation if they were rushing to leave the Capital Square. And it seemed they were armed too!

Being armed with a gun wasn’t to be concerned about. But if all of them had their guns out in the open, it was something to ponder about.

"Son, do you know what’s going on?" His father whispered to him as the Duke also noticed the questionable movements of the royal guards.
