Arren also looked suspiciously at Spade and wondered if he only misheard it, yet the alpha’s expression remained the same.
Was that even called a punishment? That was even considered an opportunity. He really couldn’t understand Spade most of the time. However, this situation was also good and the best result he could think of.
Arren might already have accepted the so-called punishment, but this wasn’t the case for both Rave and Levin, who were still processing what he said.
"Your Majesty... that punishment is—" Rave immediately spoke, but Spade cut him off before he could finish.
"You can only answer me with yes or no. Do you accept this punishment or not?" Spade calmly asked once more, and this time he seemed even more domineering and wasn’t accepting of any refusal.
Damn. The corner of Arren’s mouth rose. His alpha was so fucking cool!
Rave appears to be perplexed and at a loss for words. Arren couldn’t help but smile at this moment; it might be his first time seeing so many expressions on Rave’s face, who seemed to be able to maintain a calm expression even with a disaster happening.
"Actually, that’s a punishment! I mean, you’ll be on far more dangerous missions from now on, and the scope is bigger, right?" Arren couldn’t help but finally interject himself. What he was saying was all pure nonsense, but either way, he didn’t care that much.
As long as he could support Spade and this plan, who cared if he could spout some nonsense here and there?
